![]() Your readings of dragons most fascinated you, and you’d only wished you could see the dragon up close. It was most frowned upon for a servant to read, especially in cohorts with their Lady. But the Lord Stark made it clear, no one was to know of your learnings. Your determination and enjoyment of learning seemed to push you past what seemed impossible. Lord Stark was kind enough to permit you to join Aryana in her lessons, though you were far behind compared to your Lady. Of course, you did not allow anyone to know of your education. Had it not been for Lady Aryana, you would not know how to read at all. Coming from a lowly family, your entertainment relied on your own imagination and readings. You’d read a lot about dragons, the Targaryens and of the history of Westeros. You assumed it to be Vhagar, the largest of the dragons you’d read of. In the evenings, you dine with your family - with Rhaenyra, Laenor, Ser Harwin, the children and your husband, it is always rowdy and merry, a glad departure from the solemnity and tension of constant arguments with the Hightower lingered back, only for a moment, to stare at Prince Aemond’s dragon. You had mourned her parting, but had been glad for Helaena’s sake - and Miriam had proven capable and agreeable thus far. Sometimes you undertake sewing with Senna and your newest lady, Miriam of House Butterwell Ceryse had been transferred to Helaena’s service, the Hightowers having wished to keep their distant cousin by their side in the capitol. ![]() From there, you either choose to spend time with Ser Lysan or Rhaenyra, engaging in translations or assisting your sister in holding court. She is a much more pleasant figure than Septa Marlow, and you are thankful that the girls will be in good hands. ![]() ![]() ![]() You break your fast with your uncle within the privacy of your own chambers before venturing forth to rouse the children, escorting Daeron and Jace and Luke to their lessons and retrieving Baela and Rhaena to Septa Lennys, the kindly old matron of the Faith in residence at the isle’s Sept. You settle into a routine over the next two weeks, easily growing accustomed to life on Dragonstone. ![]()
